In the most recent Girls Cross Country Dual Meet the young Blythewood Girls fell to the strong Spring Valley team in the Varsity Race. Spring Valley took the top 4 spots, however, Blythewood placed several runners in the top tier including: Emerson Turner, Catherine Austin,Margaret Gaither, Janelle Fite, Morgan Simmonds and Brook Boone. Blythewood Girls posted their first loss in fall 2014 dual meets with a score of Spring Valley 18 and Blythewood 83.
The team competes next Wednesday, October 2nd against Lug-Off Elgin in their final home meet.
